First step to our marriage was her clan coming to my place ,officially proposing for the alliance.They carried along sweets and different eatable goodies. It was decided that the Tika (Roka) ceremony to be organized at her place on 24th of October .So on the scheduled date we all (my mausis and bhua with their families ) reached their home, it was a nice little party ,overall strength was around 80 people. Sitting arrangements were made in open, in their lawns and the Dinner was arranged in the porch. Initially, I was introduced to their close relatives who are staying in Jaipur. Then me and Renu were made to sit ,and the Tika (tilak ) ceremony was celebrated. I got many heavy lifafas . Later on , we all had dinner and after that desserts were served (Hot Gulab Jamun with cold Ice Cream). After that ,we sat there for a while , I was introduced to Rohit's (my brother-in law) friends ,we all chatted for a while. Soon, we all left their place with sweet memories, as everything was arranged and organized with a flavour and everyone was treated personally and very friendly.

The marriage ceremony is scheduled to take place on 17th of February 2002.
